Meet the Team at Richard E Klein DMD PA

Dr. Klein comes from a long line of dental professionals, being one of seven dentists in his family. This remarkable legacy began with his great-grandfather, Dr. Max Koppelman, in 1920. After graduating from Nova Southeastern University's College of Dental Medicine, Dr. Klein launched his career right here in Charlotte County.

 

Committed to excellence, he furthered his education through a General Practice Residency at UNC-Chapel Hill. Dr. Klein's diverse experience includes working as a hospital dentist in Roanoke, Virginia, specializing in treating medically compromised and special needs individuals. His passion for serving communities took him to Flagstaff, Arizona, where he provided care for Native Americans on the Navajo Reservation in Tuba City.

 

In 2018, Dr. Klein returned to his roots in Punta Gorda, bringing with him a wealth of knowledge and experience. When he's not caring for his patients, Dr. Klein enjoys exploring the great outdoors, particularly hiking in the western United States. He also cherishes quality time spent with his family, balancing his professional dedication with personal fulfillment.

Lisa began her dental career in May 2000 as a dedicated dental assistant in Utica, New York. In 2018, she embraced a new chapter by relocating to Florida with her husband, and soon after, in 2019, she became a valued member of Dr. Klein's team.

 

With over two decades of experience, Lisa brings a wealth of knowledge and a meticulous approach to her role. Her detail-oriented nature and deep-rooted passion for teamwork make her an essential part of our practice. Lisa thrives in our collaborative environment, where every team member is deeply committed to exceptional patient care.

 

Outside of the office, Lisa's adventurous spirit shines through her love for travel. She also cherishes quality time with family and friends, balancing her professional dedication with a rich personal life.

Rhonda, a welcome addition to Dr. Klein's team since 2022, brings a breath of fresh air from Oklahoma to our practice. Her genuine passion for patient care shines through in every interaction, making her a beloved member of our dental family.

Nicole, a Florida resident since 2005, became integral to Dr. Klein's team in 2021. Her dedication to supporting patients and colleagues has made her an indispensable member of our dental family.

Leisa, a Connecticut native, discovered her passion for dentistry while working in a dental office during high school. She graduated from dental hygiene school in 1991 and brought her expertise to Dr. Klein's practice in 2018.

 

With over three decades of experience, Leisa has cultivated meaningful relationships with her patients, cherishing their trust in her care. Her commitment to oral health is matched only by her enthusiasm for creating a warm, welcoming environment for every patient.

 

Outside the office, Leisa is a proud mother of two daughters and enjoys quality time with her family. She finds joy in boating and nurturing connections with friends and loved ones. Her love for Elvis and Christmas often fills her treatment room with festive tunes, adding a touch of cheer to every visit.

Tracy is a passionate dental hygienist, delivering exceptional oral care since 2021. A St. Petersburg Health Education Center graduate, she earned her degree in dental hygiene and joined Dr. Klein's team in 2023.

 

With a strong emphasis on preventative care, Tracy is dedicated to creating a comfortable and positive experience for every patient. Her meticulous approach to cleanings, which she performs with utmost care and attention to detail, along with thorough examinations and personalized care, significantly enhances patients' dental health.

 

Known for her collaborative spirit, Tracy works seamlessly with her colleagues to ensure comprehensive care. Her commitment to patient education and gentle technique make her a valued member of our Punta Gorda Family Dentistry dental family.

Tara, a native of Southeastern Pennsylvania, brings 15 years of dental hygiene expertise to our practice. After completing her education at Edison State and St. Petersburg Colleges, she has dedicated 14 years to enhancing patients' oral health. Tara joined Dr. Klein's team in 2024, bringing her wealth of experience and passion for dental care to our practice.
